Rainbow Weather

Heartopia Rainbow Weather Guide: Doris, Bouquets, Fish, Insects & Troubleshooting

Rainbow Weather can lead to Doris, 3 Rainbow Bouquets, rare fish routes, rare insect routes, and Rainbow Blessing. Collect bouquets first, check Doris second, and then route into fish or insects based on your level.

Before you start

Use the labels on this page to separate verified information, database-supported information, and community-reported routes. That matters most for bouquet pathing, rainbow endpoint searches, and older Rainbow Fish wording.

What Rainbow Weather is

A recurring special weather window that changes route priority. Rainbow is not only a sky effect. It changes bouquets, Doris, and rare catch routing.

What to do first

Pick up all 3 Rainbow Bouquets first. Their buff is timed, so every minute spent wandering before the bouquet run reduces the value of the event.

Where to find Doris

Doris appears near the rainbow endpoint. Check her after picking up the bouquets so you do not lose buff time.

Quick status before you leave your house

Check the in-game Watch or weather forecast first, then move as soon as the rainbow actually appears.

Rainbow Weather is commonly reported to start around 6 PM server time and last about one weather cycle, but the event should still be treated as a live in-game check rather than a fixed daily promise.

Do first

Pick up the 3 bouquets before slow activities

Keep in mind

Important details

  • Do not treat “Rainbow Fish” as one confirmed standalone fish entry. Rainbow usually describes a weather condition that changes spawn pools.
  • Rainbow-exclusive targets and Rainbow-compatible targets are separated below. A fish that can spawn in Rainbow weather is not automatically Rainbow-exclusive.
  • Exact bouquet spots and Doris endpoints can vary in public reports, so route areas are labeled instead of being treated as fixed coordinates.

Rainbow Blessing and farming priority

Each Rainbow Bouquet gives a temporary Rainbow Clover or Rainbow Blessing buff that lasts about 30 minutes. That is why bouquet collection belongs ahead of long fishing loops and not after them.

Doris appears during Rainbow Weather near the visible rainbow endpoint. If you only need her, that is a fast branch route. If you want the whole weather window's value, check her after the bouquet run and before your catch route.

If you finish your main route early, Rainbow Weather is also a good time to check flower crossbreeding plans.

Common Rainbow mistakes

Mixing bouquets, Doris, fish, and insects into one route with no priority order.

Treating every Rainbow-compatible fish as if it were Rainbow-exclusive.

Treating every bird mention as a confirmed Rainbow-exclusive target.

If something looks wrong

No bouquets found

Re-check whether Rainbow Weather is still active, then sweep home plot first before assuming all three failed to spawn.

Doris is not there

Move to the side of the map where the rainbow touches the ground. If the weather ended, Doris can disappear with it.

Fish list feels too long

Use your current Fishing Level input and time filter. A shorter accurate list is better than chasing impossible targets.

Conflicting guide claims

Check in-game weather first, then verified and database labels, then community reports last.

Rainbow Weather FAQ

Is Rainbow Weather a one-time event in Heartopia?

No. Rainbow Weather is treated as a recurring special weather event rather than a one-time story quest.

When does Rainbow Weather start?

It is commonly reported to start around 6 PM server time. Check the in-game Watch first because the event should be treated as a live condition.

How many Rainbow Bouquets spawn?

3 bouquets per Rainbow Weather window.

Should I collect bouquets before looking for Doris?

Usually yes. Bouquets are the highest-priority pickup because the buff is temporary, while Doris can be checked right after the route starts.

Is there a real fish called Rainbow Fish in this guide?

Treat Rainbow mainly as a weather condition affecting multiple fish entries, not as one standalone fish entry.

Why is the birds tab smaller than fish and insects?

Because there is not enough stable support for a clean Rainbow-exclusive bird list yet.
