Heartopia Meteor Shower Schedule and Locations

This page is no longer structured like a background article. It is a mobile-first Meteor Shower tool page built around the real search intent: schedule, locations, which map to use today, missing shards, Doris, rewards, and what to do when the event does not appear.

Current warning: several older public guides still conflict on Meteor timing, Doris location, store prices, and achievement trigger details. This page separates verified, multi-source, and community-reported information instead of writing uncertain claims as fixed facts.

Quick answer

Check forecast, bring a pickaxe, choose the right map first

The biggest current mistake is using stale timing or the wrong route. Start with the in-game weather icon, then decide whether you need the Onsen Mountain route or the Fishing Village route before the evening window begins.

Is There a Meteor Shower Today?

Do not rely on a public calendar first. The event is forecast in game.

Meteor Showers are forecast through the in-game Smartwatch or Phone rather than a dependable public date calendar.

Open your Watch or Phone and look for the Meteor Shower icon. If it appears for the current in-game day, prepare your pickaxe and open the correct Starfall Shard map before the evening window starts.

Check today's weather first

  • No Meteor icon usually means today is not a Meteor Shower day.
  • If the icon is present, choose your map before you start moving.
  • Use the in-game forecast as the final source of truth if a guide conflicts.

When Does the Meteor Shower Happen?

The old hard-coded February time table is removed because it was hurting trust.

Current community guides most consistently place the active weather window around 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM Server Time.

That is stronger than the older 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM wording that this page used before, but it is still treated as a multi-source report rather than absolute developer documentation.

Why no timezone table

Heartopia uses Server Time, and older local-time conversion tables on the web were internally inconsistent. That is why this page now tells players to use the in-game forecast instead of a stale real-world table.

Which Meteor Map Should I Use?

Choosing the correct map is now one of the real player pain points, so it comes before long-form explanation.

Map A - Onsen Mountain

Use this route when the active shower matches the mountain-side shard layout. This page has a full screenshot-backed 9-node set for it.

Map B - Fishing Village

Current community reports also describe a second route around Fishing Village, Lighthouse, and Zephyr Sea. This page includes it as community-reported instead of pretending only one permanent map exists.

This is the current image-backed route on the site. Use it when the active Meteor Shower matches the mountain route rather than the Fishing Village route.

Can't find the last shard?

If you are stuck at 8/9, use this helper before looping the whole map again.

  • Recheck cliff and elevation nodes before restarting the route.
  • Look below the main path for shoreline nodes near Old Sea.
  • Do not skip the ruins / capybara trough side if you are at 8/9.
  • One of the easiest misses is the bus stop-side node you think you already passed.

Current missing list

#1 Stone Cliff Path • #2 South of Onsen Mountain Lake • #3 Shoreline near Old Sea • #4 Northwest Beach • #5 Mountain Cliffs • #6 Southwest Path • #7 Eastern Hills • #8 Ruins near Capybara Trough • #9 Bus Stop Side

#1

Stone Cliff Path

Onsen Mountain Starfall Shard location 1

Nearest landmark: Stone path on the climb up the mountain

Elevation: Mid climb

Where to look: Check the glowing rock path before the steeper slope begins.

Common miss: Players often run past it while sprinting for the lake route.

Next node: South of Onsen Mountain Lake

#2

South of Onsen Mountain Lake

Onsen Mountain Starfall Shard location 2

Nearest landmark: Lake edge on the southern side

Elevation: Flat lakeside

Where to look: Sweep the grass and rock edge south of the water.

Common miss: The glow blends into the brighter ground if you approach from above.

Next node: Shoreline near Old Sea

#3

Shoreline near Old Sea

Onsen Mountain Starfall Shard location 3

Nearest landmark: Lower shoreline path

Elevation: Below the main route

Where to look: Drop down to the shoreline instead of scanning only the upper road.

Common miss: This is an easy 8/9 miss because the node sits lower than the default run path.

Next node: Northwest beach

#4

Northwest Beach

Onsen Mountain Starfall Shard location 4

Nearest landmark: Open beach pocket on the northwest side

Elevation: Low shoreline

Where to look: Scan the beach edge and the first rock shelf above it.

Common miss: It is easy to mistake this node for part of the Fishing Village route if you switch maps mentally.

Next node: Mountain cliffs

#5

Mountain Cliffs

Onsen Mountain Starfall Shard location 5

Nearest landmark: Higher cliff line above the beach route

Elevation: High ground

Where to look: Turn back uphill and check the cliff shelf before crossing to the next side.

Common miss: High elevation nodes disappear from view when you stay locked to flat ground.

Next node: Southwest path

#6

Southwest Path

Onsen Mountain Starfall Shard location 6

Nearest landmark: Winding path on the southwest side

Elevation: Mid slope

Where to look: Stay on the bend and check the outside edge of the route.

Common miss: The node can hide behind the curve of the rocks if you approach too fast.

Next node: Eastern hills

#7

Eastern Hills

Onsen Mountain Starfall Shard location 7

Nearest landmark: Open hill area opposite the cliff side

Elevation: Rolling slope

Where to look: Look across the grassy hill instead of hugging only the road.

Common miss: This is one of the easiest nodes to miss if you over-prioritize landmarks over open ground.

Next node: Ruins near capybara trough

#8

Ruins near Capybara Trough

Onsen Mountain Starfall Shard location 8

Nearest landmark: Small ruins / trough area

Elevation: Mixed flat and broken stone

Where to look: Check around the ruins rather than only the obvious front-facing side.

Common miss: Many 8/9 reports come from skipping this detour.

Next node: Bus stop side

#9

Bus Stop Side

Onsen Mountain Starfall Shard location 9

Nearest landmark: Main path near the bus stop

Elevation: Flat approach path

Where to look: Do one last sweep around the bus stop approach before checking Doris.

Common miss: Players often assume they grabbed this one earlier because it is on a familiar path.

Next node: Check Doris and exchange rewards

Where Is Doris During a Meteor Shower?

This section is rewritten to stop over-claiming one fixed location.

Doris appears during special weather events and opens her Fortune Store for Starfall Shard exchanges. Her reported Meteor Shower location currently varies between public guides and event-map reports.

Instead of writing one permanent location as certain, this page now treats Doris as map-dependent during Meteor Shower weather. Use the active Meteor map and the Doris marker tied to that event version.

Looking only for Doris?

Use the dedicated Doris page for current weather-based location logic instead of expecting the Meteor page to own every dynamic Doris case.

The older conflicting price table is replaced with a more cautious, current report-first table.

Beneath the Meteor Shower Achievement

The page now separates what is confirmed from what is only community-reported.

Confirmed

  • The achievement is associated with the Meteor Shower event.
  • It is tied to the Meteor / Wish mechanic family in current public explanations.

Community-reported only

  • Friend requirement
  • Giant meteor timing
  • Exact level requirement
  • Specific emote trigger sequence

Verification status: Community-reported

Do Starfall Shards Expire?

This stays on the page because it is a real search intent, but the certainty is lowered until re-verified.

Saving Starfall Shards between Meteor Showers is widely community-reported and is one of the most useful player assumptions, but this page no longer presents it as fully re-verified current behavior without a fresh check.

Treat the stockpile mechanic as community-reported until the current game version or a strongly verified source reconfirms it.

Meteor Shower Not Appearing?

This replaces generic tips with actual fixes players search for.

No Meteor icon in forecast

Today probably is not a Meteor Shower day. Check the Watch or Phone forecast again instead of waiting in the wrong weather window.

It is the right day but I see no shards

Make sure you are inside the active event window. A correct forecast alone does not mean the nodes are already active.

I am at Onsen but no nodes are here

You may need the alternate Fishing Village map. This is one of the most important fixes missing from older guides.

I found some but not all nine

Use the 9-location checklist and last-shard helper above. Elevation and shoreline nodes are the most common misses.

Doris is missing

Check active weather and the current event map first. Her Meteor Shower position may differ with the route version.

I mined a node already

Current public guides indicate the nodes do not respawn during the same Meteor Shower, so move on to the rest of the route.
